This hotel was great!
It was super natury !
I love the sea. ( I was born at the sea that why I like it )
I hope we can come back and smell the fresh sea air !
The ladies in the cafe Naga were very kind!
I liked the walks most !
The swimming pool was relaxing !
When I woke up in the morning, I ran out side and sat by the cliff where the sea hit the rocks !
I loved our room !
Our room was #9 and had the nicest views!
The food is delicous if I may say so to all the cooks in the kitchen !
In the cafe, I always have the direction to the rice fields !
This place is like Taso ! ( Taso is a beautiful place )
My brother loved the beaches to surf in !
We loved the clear air so that we could sit outside ( we live in Jakarta, it is very very potuted )
We love the costumes the waiters wore !
The new year food was terrifee and very nice Balinesse dancers !

Diana and I wanted to thank you - all of you - for a wonderful retreat at Gajah Mina Resort!! Please accept our deepest thanks and gratitude for all of your hard work and kindness! Everyone who joined us for the retreat LOVED Gajah Mina Resort and all of you! And thank you for all of your generosity! You have created an amazing resort - Gajah Mina is wonderful - and you can rest assured that all of your staff were wonderful! Merci beaucoup!

We were in Bali last year for 6 weeks, and decided to take a week to drive
round the island. Hadnt booked anywhere and had my 75yo dad with us, off we
set from Sanur over to the east coast and along the highway. We had spotted
this Gajah MIna on the net, so kept our eye out for it. Finally a little
sign, down a terribly winding track and here we were.
The resort is set on a little hill, and the rooms wind down towards the
beach. Restaurant and reception have a beautiful view over fields with cows,
goats and whatever else wanders in. Restaurant has some wonderful dishes
(very different)cold beer and wine.
After looking at some beautiful rooms we setted on the very bottom room,
which is a reneovated Javanese timber and thatch hut, nestled right on the
cliff edge. You could hear the waves crashing below of an evening and open
the windows for cool breezes. This room had its own huge front garden which
also overloooked the beach and we would sit out under an umbrella of an
afternoon and either have some of their delicious herbal teas, or champagne
or both!
There are walking tracks all around this resort and only after a few
minutes, walking past giant lizards to miles and miles of deserted beach.
One day Tom and I walked north for an hour, and didnt see another person.
Rice paddies and fishing boatsline the shore, then finally, one other tiny
resort. It was simply stunning.

Hello Dominique,
Sadly I am now back at my desk in Bristol but I wanted to write to thank you
so very much for your hospitality during our trip to Bali. We really loved
Gajah Mina and can honestly say that when we return to Bali (which will
certainly will), we would love to come and spend a good week or so with you.
The villas are charming and the restaurant puts together some really
wonderful food. The Gajah Mina pumpkin soup was delicious!

I think you have a very special small hotel and I look forward to sending
many more i-escape clients to you. It certainly helps to have visited as I
can now give clients a real understanding of the hotel and the island.
Please thank your whole team for everything. Our driver, Wayan (??), was
just fantastic - he knows all the short cuts.

Many thanks to you too for dropping my glasses off at the Bale - that was
very kind of you.

je sais qu'il est un peu tard mais je voulais encore une fois te remercier ainsi que ton personnel à Gajah Mina pour les maginifiques vacances que nous j'ai passées avec ma femme Beatrice et mes enfants Laetitia et Michael au mois d'avril (Michael m'a d'ailleurs demandé de passer le bonjour à ton fils avec qui il a eu du plaisir à jouer au football sur la plage).

L'endroit était magnifique et la cuisine vraiment excellente. Notre fille a un peu regretté le manque de connectivité (internet, msn messenger etc...) alors que moi je l'ai plutôt apprécié...

Je te joins encore quelques photos souvenirs (je peux te les envoyer en plus grande résolution sit tu le souhaites) et nous ne manquerons pas de faire de la publicité pour Gajah Mina (mon frère m'a déja demandé plus de détails).

J'ai essayé de laisser un commentaire dans le Guestbook sur ton site internet mais j'ai malheureusement eu un message d'erreur lorsque j'ai voulu le charger.

Spent the most beautful week here in the middle of Jan. The hotel, rooms, restaurant & service were superb. The location is stunning & quite simply we had a sensational holiday. Absolute first class - would recommend it to anyone - THANK YOU!!!
